Business development manager (DACH)

About the job

We are looking for an experienced, highly driven, and outgoing business development manager for the DACH region to support the growth ambition of MANUS. In this role you are responsible for the growth strategy and results of your region. You are a self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales and have a deep understanding of the local market.

The ideal candidate has a background in B2B Enterprise VR/AR/XR applications. A plus would be knowledge of the Motion Capture Industry. The location of this position depends on where you are based and will be either a hybrid or remote role.  

This is what you are going to do

-      Develop and execute a sales strategy for the DACH region.

-      Meet and exceed revenue targets.

-      Manage channel partners and develop a partner strategy.

-      Build and manage a pipeline, where you can provide a forecast.

-      Collaborate with marketing and product owners to develop go-to-market plans.

-      Generate leads through trade fairs, network events, conferences, or desk research.

-      Provide updates on sales activity and report progress to the Commercial Director.

-      Ensure customer satisfaction.

This is who you are

-      +5years of experience in B2B sales in the VR/AR/XR industry with a proven track record of success in the DACH region. A plus would be experience in the Motion Capture industry.

-      Strong knowledge and network of the local market and fluent in German and English.

-      Experience in selling hardware solutions for VR. A plus would be experience in the Motion Capture industry.

-      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility for internal and external stakeholders.

-      A strategic thinker with good analytical skills

-      Proficient in Microsoft office and Dynamics 365 Sales (or equivalent)
