Senior Industrialisation Engineer (NPI) | Eindhoven

Back to Careers

Make our data gloves ready for volume production, together with our manufacturers.

EUR 5,000 to 6,000 gross per month (full-time) · 38 to 40 hours · Eindhoven region, hybrid (at least three office days) · Start as soon as possible

At MANUS, we develop data gloves with electromagnetic (EMF) tracking for precise, drift-free hand and finger tracking, used by more than 2,000 research institutions and technology companies and integrated into NVIDIA Isaac Lab. Demand is growing fast, and our volumes will grow several times over in the coming years. As our Senior Industrialisation Engineer, you make sure our products can be built in volume by external manufacturers, and you own that step technically.

What you will do

  • Make existing product lines easier and cheaper to produce, and set up new product lines together with our manufacturers.
  • Own the technical documentation package per product, so a manufacturer can build it without questions coming back.
  • Test and sign off product changes and alternative components, including the quality tests we can share with customers.
  • Guide component alternatives through to release, including a PCB redesign with our electrical engineer when needed.
  • Turn feedback from the production floor into improvements, and review new products from R&D for manufacturability before release.

After your first year, every current product has a complete technical package, at least one product line runs at a manufacturer that can handle higher volumes, and component changes no longer delay production.

What we are looking for

  • You have taken a hardware product from prototype to series production, or scaled one up with an external manufacturer, and owned that step.
  • You judge manufacturability: injection moulding, the interaction between mechanics and PCBs, tolerances and drawings.
  • You write technical documentation that a manufacturer can produce from in one go.
  • You set up quality tests for product changes, read the results and decide whether a change is ready.
  • You like building structure in a fast-growing company, and you work in English with R&D, production and manufacturers. Dutch is not required.

Adjusting drawings in SolidWorks, experience with component obsolescence, and experience with overmoulding or robotics are a plus.

What we offer

Flexible hours, 27 holiday days and 8% holiday allowance, a modern pension, a travel allowance, (optional) lunch with our cooking club every Thursday, and a role you build yourself in a company that is scaling up.
