Job Description

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will work together with a bright team of engineers. You will have full responsibility for your own projects; you are expected to work independently and manage your time efficiently. You can identify risks that may threaten deadlines and are able to escalate to the right people. You work under the Embedded Team Manager.

Furthermore, your teammates can always come to you with questions and to discuss possible hold-ups. You also work together with the QC department to maintain the software used for our in-house production.

Your Responsibilities

· Designing and improving complex firmware architectures

· Documenting and testing the required software specifications

· Experience with unit testing and integration testing

· Own end-to-end root cause analysis across the hardware/firmware boundary

· Coaching junior/medior engineers

· Plan, lead and execute small to mid-size projects in the mechatronics domain

Our Ideal Candidate

· Strong background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, demonstrated through formal education or equivalent professional experience

· 8+ years of experience in the field

· Experienced in embedded C and C++

· Used to working and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English

A Plus Would Be

· Interest in and / or experience with VR or Motion Capture

· Signal processing experience

· Experience with the following tools: Git, Jira, Confluence

· Great math skills
