Role Overview

As Business Development Director, you will drive Manus' commercial strategy and expansion into new and existing international markets. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will have full P&L responsibility and lead the global business development function. This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for a commercially minded leader with a passion for scaling technology-driven businesses and implementing recurring business models.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

·         Develop, innovate and execute new recurring revenue business models based on data, software and services

·         Assume full P&L ownership for the commercial function.

·         Position Manus within emerging and established markets to maximize visibility and competitiveness.

·         Lead market expansion efforts and forge strategic partnerships to unlock new growth opportunities.

·         Team and Organizational Development

·         Build and nurture a high-performing, agile business development team.

·         Lead marketing efforts for maximum exposure in key industries

·         Improve commercial systems, tools, and processes for forecasting and execution.

·         Relationship Management & Business Growth

·         Strengthen relationships with existing clients and key accounts to drive long-term value.

·         Represent Manus at global industry events, strategic meetings, and partnership forums.

·         Convert customer insights and market signals into new value propositions and commercial collaborations.

·         Collaborate closely with internal teams—product, engineering, and marketing—to align strategy and delivery.

Candidate Profile

Background & Experience

·         Academic degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.

·         Experience in international business development, ideally in B2B tech or scale-up environments.

·         Demonstrated success in building and leading business development teams across borders.

·         Track record of scaling technology companies and entering new international markets.

·         Strong understanding of global distribution models and enterprise customer journeys.

·         Proven ability to form and sustain long-term, strategic partnerships.
