Job Description

As Technical Buyer, you’ll be the operational link between R&D, production, and suppliers. You’ll manage procurement activities, maintain supplier data, support new product introductions, and ensure the availability of critical components. You’ll also play a key role in ERP management, cost control, and production readiness.

What You’ll Be Doing

·      Managing purchase orders in our ERP system (Exact), including order tracking, confirmations, and delivery follow-up.

·      Monitoring stock levels using forecasting tools and Excel, and aligning with production and R&D needs.

·      Coordinating with suppliers on pricing, lead times, Incoterms, payment terms, and delivery reliability.

·      Supporting the transition from development to production by setting up new components, subassemblies, and trade goods in ERP.

·      Collaborating with engineering and production to define efficient assembly flows and ensure manufacturability.

·      Maintaining supplier and itemdocumentation (datasheets, .STEP files, BOMs, PCB files, etc.).

·      Assisting with PCBA sourcing and coordination with SMT partners (e.g., Eurocircuits, EmBe, Matas).

·      Proactively identifying sourcing risks and proposing alternatives or improvements.

·      Supporting finance with payment preparation and vendor account setup.

·      Ensuring data accuracy and revision control for 3D printed, CNC, and injection-molded parts.

·      Testing ERP setups in a sandbox environment before going live.

What We’re Looking For

·      MBO+/HBO degree in a technical, logistics, or supply chain-related field.

·      Experience in procurement, sourcing, or production support—preferably in a tech or hardware environment.

·      Strong Excel and ERP (Exact)skills; familiarity with tools like Find chips, Octopart, and Eurocircuits portals.

·      Basic understanding of electronics (ICs, PCBs), mechanical drawings, and manufacturing files (Gerber,BOM, STEP).

·      Proactive, detail-oriented, and communicative team player.

·      Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
